My presentation of Use WordPress to Activate Your Business is coming up soon! I will speak on June 18 at City Hall in Rancho Cordova, California, as part of the Sacramento area Technology to Advance Your Career event. The event is sponsored by the International Association of Administrative Professionals. Those attending will learn how to build a beautiful, powerful website at little or no cost. No programming knowledge is required.

We will talk about how to:

- Use general settings and options
- Install and use themes
- Create posts and pages
- Add headlines, text, and photos
- Work with sidebars and menus
- Work with plugins
- Update WordPress versions
- Back up the database
We will take a quick look at how to polish the look of a site, too. Managing reader comments is a big issue I hope to talk about as well.
